In New Zealand they have a very unique culture when it comes to playing rugby. Children play for the same club that there fathers played for and there fathers before them. It is almost a right of passage and playing for another club just isn't an option. This sort of mentality is drilled into the children from day one. When the senior players are preparing for a match no matter what part of the country your in, the children will always be allowed to sit and watch them prepare, its a way of teaching the kids how to prepare for the upcoming match. Memories that last a life time, and are often handed down to the future generations.
There is also another unique way that the kids of New Zealand learn the game. Its the good old back yard game, these games are where most skills are learnt, practiced and fine tuned. Everything can be learned in these games, tackling, passing, kicking and most of all running. This is where kids learn all the tricks of the trade and new tricks that a cousin has figured out on his way home from school. Taking these backyard skills onto the big stage is what has made New Zealand stand out from the rest, and has left the other countrys stunned by the sheer briliance of there attack, attack that can cut opponents to pieces from anywhere on the field, from 5 metres out or 95 metres out brilliant attack is a trade mark of the All Blacks and New Zealand rugby in general. These factors combined with a deep history are what make the All Blacks truely great.a
